After a long year of dealing with a dishwasher that would leak and sometimes drain clear across the kitchen floor, along came our BOSCH! Not being one to write reviews it seemed difficult but then I realized everything we love is in the name:
B: best we have ever owned
O: outstanding purchase
S: Shhh.....so quiet
C: clean dishes every time
H: happy owners!!
We especially like the utensil rack on the top for sharp knives and oversize spoons, etc. that don't go into the bottom basket.

We purchased a Bosch 300 Series Dishwasher in February, and the unit was delivered on March 8th. We installed the unit and immediately experience issues. Each attempted cycle would repeatedly stop with approximately 1 hour remaining, indicating a "Water Leak Detected" error. The dishwasher was disconnected and removed, and water was found beneath the unit. We contacted the Bosch customer service team and informed them of the issue(s). We were infomed that we would need to contact a local, authorized repair group. That service call-out took another week to complete, and the recommendation was that we should return the NEW unit for refund/replacement. All of the requested/required documentation has been provided back to the customer service team, and we are still waiting for the RMA to be processed. We chose Bosch because we were under the impression that we would be buying a quality product that would last our family for years to come. However, what we received was an $1100 unit that dumps water onto our floor and cabinets and a lot of wasted time in going back-and-forth over the previous month with the customer service team in attempting to simply return a failed unit. We understand that there will be occasional failures across all appliances. However, we shoudn't be expected to repeatedly call the customer service line, waste an average of 1 hour on hold for each call, and learn that we are one month in with no progress toward receving the RMA. This dishwasher has not yet run a single, successful cycle without alarms/leaking. This experience has left us with NO desire to purchase another Bosch product. The wasted time and hassle does not reflect well on the product or team.

I am extremely disappointed with my new Bosch dishwasher. Not only was the delivery delayed by several weeks, but the performance has been incredibly underwhelming. Despite trying multiple drying and heat settings, the dishes come out completely wet every single time-there is absolutely no proper drying happening (as shown in the photos). Even more concerning is the cleaning performance; I was genuinely shocked to find visible residue left behind, including my lipstick mark still on a wine glass. For a brand with such a strong reputation, this experience has been frustrating and far below expectations. I had to return it and buy another brand.,

Cleans well overall. Easy and fairly flexible loading. Clean led doesn't stay on after finishing cycle, so if my wife runs at night, I can't tell the next morning. Doesn't heat dry, so the dishes feel cold and undry, even though they appear to actually dry. I don't see the utility in having a dishwasher which connects to wi-fi, seems more useless bells and whistles than anything (note that if the clean led stayed on then there wouldn't even be the excuse of having push notifications).

This does a great job of getting things clean and sanitized. My only criticism is the silverware holder is too small and even with the extra dry cycle on, there's still quite a bit of water left on some things.

Replaced our 30 plus year old whirlpool with the 300 series Bosch. Love it. Cleans well and super quiet. I especially love the 3rd shelf. Which I use for my silverware. Would highly recommend.

We did a lot of research before we picked our Bosch dishwasher, mainly for its salad ertises quiet and efficiency. Unit worked great for about 5 months the developed a loud noise. Bosch service has only been somewhat helpful but could not provide any authorized repair service to come fix it. They offered a full refund but not sure we will buy this brand again

I do not like this dishwasher. It is very difficult to put pots, pans and dishes inside. There is no cycle for rinse only or to drain and stop. The only way to get those cycles is to use a barcode, go to another site and it never works.

Overall, the dishwasher is great. However, it does not dry very well even with sanitize and extra dry options selected. I would have to leave the door open for couple of hours to get everything fully dry.

I am still in the process of deciding if this dishwasher is on the plus side or negative side of being a good purchase. There are more things that I dislike than like so far. But in all fairness I have gone back to the manual and am now trying some different functions. So we will see.

We find it very difficult to place items in the racks. there is a few spots the have parts that fold own. but the perminent part is still in the way this feature seems useless to me. There seems to be no good place the put larger iteams like casarol dishes. We have the 3rd rack so we were able to remove the silverware holder from the machine giving us some additonal space. All in all not happy with the rack configuration at all

Lots of space especially with the 3rd upper rack for flatware. Quietest dishwasher we have owned. Cleaning performance is excellent. We typically use the auto wash cycle but occasionally use other options. It uses passive drying instead of a heating element. This saves energy and by leaving the door open after the wash finishes, the dishes air dry quickly. I expect it to last a long time.

Purchased the Bosch Dishwasher to replace a brand X model that was over 40 years old and finally decided to leak. So far, we have been very impressed with the unit, especially how quiet it is. That brand X model could rattle the windows while you have to listen closely to hear if the Bosch is operating. Easy to load, the top tray is actually more useful than we anticipated. Being some old duffers, the electronics can be a bit overwhelming, but after some use it all falls into place. On the negative side, get real tired of checking/cleaning the filter. Am used to the grinder in brand X that would eliminate small particles and flush them. Unit was installed professionally for us without any problems. Highly recommend.

Ordered from Lowes. After waiting 5 weeks -promised in 3 weeks found out order not recieved or lost by Bosch. Reordered and had to wait additonal 3 weeks when informed that Bosch had 100 of these units in stock.
Installation was straightforward after doing floor repairs and used first time last night. Dishes did not come out following morning as old Bosch unit. Will reread manual as it indicated super dry function was enabled but still had disappointing results.

I ordered this 300 series to replace a 500 series Bosch that we had owned for less than 5 years. The new unit is considerably less robust, also slightly noisier. Which for a Bosch is saying something. The space and layout is much better on the 300 series. The automatic washing settings are much improved. I will hope that this unit lasts longer than 5 years.

This is the best dishwasher I've owned in 40 years as it cleans very well. But connecting to the wifi router in my house has become so much hassle that I have given up and just use the buttons. Even when the machine does connect to the wifi system, the Bosch app shows connecting/not connected over and over, never stopping.

Second Bosch dishwasher. First Bosch dishwaher only lasted 7 years. Purchased this dishwasher because Bosche is the very quiet. Washes ok, but does not pass the baked on egg test. I feel this is not worth the price tag.

I love verything except the pull out silverware rack at the top. I prefer the long removable silverware I saved from first machine. I find so many items will no longer fit on the middle rack as top rack invades what was extra space.

I love this dishwasher!! We bought model number SHE53C82N in white. It's easy to keep clean and doesn't show fingerprints or marks like many stainless steel appliances often do. The dishwasher works very well and is so quiet! Also, the full heavy duty cycle is finished in two hours as opposed to our older dishwasher that took three hours. Highly recommended!!

Have to reset it almost every time I use it. Cycles too long, doesn't dry efficiently, need a simpler press normal and starr abd walk away. Have ao leave open extra day to finish drying. Too.late we already installed so we just hand wash. Its less complicated.

We've had this dishwasher for 2 years now. We love having the top silverware rack. The stainless tub is great and stays stain free. It's super quiet, which we love. We only need to fill the detergent dispenser halfway and everything comes out clean. The only thing that's kind of a pain is you really need to use the app to get the cycle you want.

We replaced our 15 year old series 300 with another 300. We might have replaced the defective components in the old 300, but we figured we would update and refresh the device. The newer model is quieter and has more bells and whistles. But do I really want to connect my dishwasher to my phone? One improvement was a better way to clean cutlery with an upper tray. The installation and swap out went smoothly. 20 minutes from start to finish. We were happy to make the upgrade. We hope this one lasts as long!

After our KitchenAide dishwasher crapped out on us I reviewed CR's recommendations before deciding on what would be my next dishwasher. Based on their recommedations I chose the BOSCH 300 Series front control w/Home Connect and third tray option. I am sorry to say that I am disappointed in the unit for several reasons. The Home Connect is not as user friendly as I think it could be. Every once in a while I have to reboot my cell phone to get Home Connect to even come up. It doesn't tell you that in order to change any programming you may have been able to do, that in order to change the original you must make sure you have "turned on" your dw before in order to affect the changes. The unit itself is somewhat small to me on the inside and it doesn't dry well, especially plastic items. Finally, the "Clean" light on the front control panel only stays on for a few minutes after the cycle is complete instead of staying on until you open the unit to empty it. Because it acts this way, one does not know if the dishes inside have been cleaned or not. We ended up buying an outside magnet with slide to be able to indicate if the dishes are clean (washer has been run) or still dirty (washer not run yet). Otherwise the dishwasher does clean the dishes as it should.

Very quiet dishwasher, but does not dry my dishes they are always wet when done. No light comes on when completed it cycles. Very disappointed. Now someone that uses wi fi may injoy that feature but i dont intend to ever use it. My 20 year old dishwasher worked so much better, I wish I would have kept it.

I purchased this dishwasher from Wayfair assuming it was a 800 series model. ( i was replacing a 800 model), The advertisement listed the DW as an 800 model.
When I went to install it the installer told me that it was a 300 series model. I was horrified. I had been without a dishwasher for 3 weeks ankd my husband had just had heart surgery. I had the DW installed.
I called Wayfair and they blamed Bosch who they said provided the description of the DW. The advertisement listed the DW as 800-300 series. I obviously did not seer the 300 series notation.
I will be contacting BOSCH and requesting remuniration but am not hopeful.
